International Networking Event for Polar Early Career Researchers

On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, 7 am AKT | 9 am MT | 11 am ET we hosted an ‘International Networking Event for Polar Early Career Researchers’ that allowed early career researchers to expand their polar international network and build collaborations.

This event was discussion-based, and participants interacted with other early-career scientists from around the globe across a variety of disciplines. To help connect attendees with the right individuals, we asked a few questions during registration about what attendees were looking to get out of the event and the types of collaborations they were interested in. Attendees participated in two breakout sessions, the first sorted by attendees’ goals for the event and the second randomly sorted with an emphasis on an international mix.
