‘Foundations in Leadership: Getting Back to the Basics’ - Workshop #1 of the 2024 Leadership Workshop Series

Date

On February 28th, 2024, PSECCO hosted the first workshop of the 2024 Leadership Skills Workshop Series entitled ‘Foundations in Leadership: Getting Back to the Basics’.

This workshop was a foundational training in various aspects of leadership intended to help early career researchers improve their leadership skills, to serve as a complement to research expertise. Folks in attendance evaluated successful leadership techniques, how to best harness individual leadership strengths, and how to develop a leadership mantra applicable in academia and the broader working world.

The information shared in this workshop is relevant to people with any level of leadership experience (from none to a lot) who want to move towards being better and more impactful leaders. The link to view a recording of this workshop can be found here. We encourage you to share this workshop with anyone who might find it useful.

The slide deck from the workshop is here.
