PSECCO resources and events are open to everyone, regardless of location, career stage, or discipline. We support and connect those who are committed to advancing early career polar science. However, due to funding restrictions from the US National Science Foundation, PSECCO funding is only available to US-based individuals. PSECCO can provide funding to all US citizens and non-citizens with a US Visa that allows the acceptance of funds from the University of Colorado Boulder.
PSECCO Conference Travel Grant Program

PSECCO Administration Support/Grants
Early career polar researchers/scientists (ECRs) have great ideas, do important work, and serve as meaningful leaders for justice and equity within the field. Sometimes, a little support can make a huge difference in the ability of these ECRs to advance their mission, elevate their presence, or increase the impact of their work. PSECCO understands this need and provides support through either administrative time (provided by our team) or funding (for expenses to volunteer-run organizations that support and/or are run by polar early career scientists) in service to increasing justice and equity within the polar early career community. Some examples of the type of support organizations can apply for (though this list is by no means exhaustive) include: website administration and hosting, virtual meeting support, software licenses, conference presentation-related fees, room rentals, and/or printing. If your organization is in need of such assistance, please email psecco@colorado.edu with a context for and description of what funds or administration support are [is] needed for, along with a budget for the expense. PSECCO will get back to you with any added context needed to appropriately respond to the request.
